I’ve listened to music for a long time. Heck, I’ll even make the assumption that everyone reading this article has, too! Now, it’s a given that everyone likes certain kinds of music. Bluegrass, rock, country, jazz...and an infinite number more. And there's music for everyone. You feel kind of sad? Wanna cry in yer beer? Put on some country. Feel lively, like you could do something? Some rock might be the right theme. Which reminds me of another style...cajun. Ooooh. I can hear those dueling banjos now. Don't make me squeel like a piggy!

And that brings me to another thing that music does, which is make people feel different. As soon as I mentioned cajun, you probably thought of the movie 'Deliverance.' Of course, you might have just thought of banjos. Or maybe you just thought of some hot peppers, which usually go in cajun recipies. Or maybe you just wondered to yourself, "What is cajun?"

Don't just think that cajun is the only thing that changes your feeling. Let's think about the song 'Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.' A Christmas...uh...classic! You probably have various reactions and memories just hearing that name, such as getting a bunch of relatives together, singing the song and videotaping yourselves! Wait a minute, that might just be my family...
